"Cat Saturday" for the Tower Ladder
By CFD Reporter 501
March 23, 2013
To some, it may not seem that important. But to one little girl, it made her day.
Around 2:00 PM today, a resident called to report a cat has been stuck in a neighborhood tree for over 24 hours. After discussing the situation with Car 2083 (AC Mansfield), he requested Tower Ladder 44 to assist.
After a few minutes, Ex-Captain Anita Dominello reached out from the platform of TL44 some 40-45 feet in the air to rescue the distraught pet.
All units returned to service a short time later, turning the frightened feline over to it's ecstatic owner.
