By Chief John Munson
December 22, 2013
Croton's Bravest, along with Croton EMS and New York State Police, were dispatched to the area of 137 Colabaugh Pond Road in the Town of Cortlandt at 4:15 AM for a rollover vehicle accident with possible fire. On the assignment were E118, E119, T10 & R18.
On the arrival of Car 2082 (A/C Vlad), he reported one vehicle overturned, no fire and no occupants on the scene. FD units assisted NYSP checking the area for the driver and any occupants, while stabilizing the vehicle.
After 30 minutes, Command released 2nd Due E118 and T10, keeping E119 & R18 for lighting. All units returned to service once the vehicle was removed from the roadway at 5:37 AM.
If anyone has information regarding this incident, please contact New York State Police at 737-7171.
