On Monday around 6:15 AM, the Croton-on-Hudson FD Firefighter Assist & Search Team was dispatched to Secor Road in Ossining for a working house fire. Within minutes, Engine 119 was on the way, bringing ten FAST members to the scene.

On arrival, the team split into two crews, assigning one to the A/D corner and the other to the B/C. Ossining's Bravest were working on a fire in a multi-family frame dwelling between the first and second floors. The building presented numerous concerns for those operating in it, including a split-level design, limited access from floor to floor and security bars on windows.

CFDFAST personnel threw several ladders for emergency egress points, removed security bars from windows, and monitored fire conditions until being released roughly two hours later. Assisting the OFD on scene were also Millwood FD, Briarcliff Manor FD, Ossining EMS, Croton EMS and Pleasantville EMS Rehab Unit.
