The Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department was called to two Structure Fires in the City of Peekskill on Sunday, March 20th.

Around 12:00 PM, we were requested as the FASTeam for a basement fire in a two-family home on Depew Street. Car 2081 and Engine 119 took in this assignment with a crew of six members. Upon arrival, the fire was knocked down so we were released a short time later by Peekskill's Incident Commander.

That evening, around 7:30 PM, PFD units arrived at an auto repair shop about a block away from their headquarters with fire showing and transmitted the "10-75." Our FASTeam was once again called to the scene with Car 2083 and Engine 119 taking in this assignment with another crew of seven members. A fire which originated in a vehicle on a lift and ran the ceiling and roof kept firefighters from Peekskill, Mohegan and the Montrose VA busy, while our team monitored fire conditions and accountability of personnel inside and on the roof.

Croton units were released from the scene about two hours later.
