Around 10:45 on Saturday night, Yorktown Fire was dispatched to a home on Baptist Church Road for an inside smoke investigation. Per their SOP, a FAS Team was also on the assignment from Putnam Valley, who was covering for Mohegan.

Units arrived at the large house set back well of the road and began to investigate a light smoke condition. At 11:23, Yorktown Command requested an Engine and Tanker to the scene for fire in the walls. Within two minutes of dispatch, Car 2081, Engine 119 and Tanker 10 were responding, bringing a total of twelve volunteers to the scene.

On the arrival of the Croton units, E119 was sent up to the scene for manpower, and T10 was brought in to supply water to Yorktown's Tanker 14. By this time, Yorktown volunteers had the fire extinguished and were overhauling to ensure no hidden pockets of fire remained.

All CFD units were back in service by 12:15 AM.
