Croton Fire and EMS were dispatched along with Ossining Fire and EMS to a reported rollover motor-vehicle accident on southbound Route 9 this Saturday night. Due to conflicting reports of the incident's whereabouts, both Croton and Ossining had units responding until it was verified to be within the Village of Croton.

Car 2083 (A/C Colombo) arrived seconds after Ossining was dispatched and confirmed it to be in Croton. With that, a Croton assignment was dispatched bringing Engine 120, Rescue 18 and Utility 14 to the scene. U14 arrived first less than one minute after dispatch. The crew of that unit worked with Ossining EMS to remove the driver from the vehicle.

Rescue 18 and Engine 120 arrived shortly after and assisted with securing the vehicle and controlling traffic on the Croton River Bridge. At 10:09 PM, Command placed the situation under control and released Engine 118, who was standing by at Station #3 with a crew.

The driver was taken via Ossining EMS and the Croton/Briarcliff Paramedic to the Westchester Medical Center Trauma Unit with unspecified injuries.

All Croton Fire units cleared the highway at 11:15 PM.
