Car Vs. Pole on Old Post North

Around 1:00 AM on Sunday morning, the emergency service agencies in Croton were sent to Old Post Road North in the area of Terrace Place for a motor-vehicle accident, car into a pole. Dispatched from Croton Fire were Engine 119 and Rescue 18.

Car 2083 (AC Colombo) was first to arrive, reporting a single vehicle accident, with the car into a pole and the pole heavily damaged. Moments later, Car 2081 (Chief Vlad) and Engine 119 (with a crew of 5) arrived, shortly followed by Rescue 18.

The occupants of the car were assessed by Croton EMS, while Croton Fire units closed the road in both directions until the car was removed. Con Edison was notified and made temporary repairs to the pole.

The CFD units remained on scene less than an hour.
