At 11:25 PM Saturday night, Croton's Bravest were at it again - responding to the third Mutual Aid structure fire in ten days - the fourth out of town request in the same amount of time. Tonight's assignment dispatched Tanker 10 to a fully engulfed house fire on Illington Road in Yorktown.

Ironically, a fire struck the same building in October of 2012, heavily damaging it. Tanker 10 also answered the call for that fire. Tonight's blaze completely destroyed the two-story house, reportedly the home of the Head Rabbi at this Yeshiva complex.

Tanker 10, along with Car 2083, arrived and helped Yorktown and Millwood units establish a drop site for the incoming Tankers' water. Using one of the 3,500 gallon folding ponds carried by T10, as well as one from Yorktown and Katonah, units were able to establish a stable source of water to feed the multiple hose lines being used to fight the blaze.

After nearly four hours and numerous water shuttles to the scene, the Croton Fire units were placed back in service and returned to quarters around 3:30 AM.
