On Saturday morning around 10:40, Croton's volunteers were called Mutual Aid to Montrose's Amberlands complex for a working structure fire. Within minutes Car 2083 and Engine 119 were on the way with a full compliment of members.

Montrose's Bravest had heavy fire in an apartment on the second floor of the multi-unit garden-style apartment building. Thanks to an aggressive interior attack, the fire was knocked down quickly and contained to the apartment of origin.

Croton members remained on scene as a FAST company for just over an hour before being released by Montrose command.
