| The men, women and young adults of your Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department continue to thrive and produce a consistent level of service that we have proudly done since 1892 - ALL WITH VOLUNTEERS.
Through the end of October, your neighbors, friends and family members have answered 307 calls for help. Every time our pagers go off, we show up in a matter of minutes, bringing an average of 16 dedicated firefighters to your emergency.
As of this writing (the end of October), twelve new members have joined our ranks this year - both males and females. A total of 119 members continue to be active in the CFD and answer those calls for help - 24/7/365. Without people like them signing up to be a part of our great organization, we simply CAN NOT do what it is we do, and do it as well as we do.
If you are at least 18 years of age and either live in or work in the Croton area, you too could become a part of our amazing organization. For teenagers aged 14 to 17, you can become a part of our Explorer Post.
Simply email memberinfo@crotonfd.org or call (914) 271-2693 for more information.
