By CFD Reporter 912
June 15, 2013
On Saturday, Croton's Bravest responded to two incidents in the Village, keeping our volunteers busy.
At 1:00 PM, Croton EMS, Fire and Police responded to Route 9 northbound on the Croton River Bridge for a multiple car accident. Car 2082 (A/C Vlad) arrived reporting a 3-car accident and established command. E119 arrived and assisted with traffic control and spill cleanup, while E120 & R18 were held in quarters. Croton EMS transported one to an area hospital as a precaution.
At 8:20 PM, CFD units were dispatched to the "Dummy Light" for a reported car fire. On the arrival of Car 2081 (Chief Munson) he reported a pair of jumper cables had caught fire between two vehicles. "Dummy Light Command" had E118 continue in for paperwork and kept R18 in service.
