Tuesday Afternoon Rollover, Three Other Runs

The Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department responded to four different emergencies in just over six hours this past Tuesday. Here's a rundown of our activity;
Call #1: Companies were dispatched to a Birch Court home for an odor of gas outside and inside the residence. Car 2083 (A/C Pesavento), E118 (Chemical), E120 (Harmon), E119 & T10 (Washington) responded. No hazard was found.
Call #2: At 2:05 PM Con Edison requested the CFD for a "large fuel spill." Car 2083, E118, R18 & U14 investigated what turned out to be a miscommunication with no issue found.
Call #3: At 2:50 PM units were called to the Shoprite on South Riverside for a broken water pipe. Units found a broken fire sprinkler pipe struck by a forklift in the loading dock area. Car 2083, Car 2089 (D/C J. Munson), E120, E119 & U14 took in the run.
Call #4: A vehicle struck a utility pole and overturned on East Mount Airy Road, fracturing the pole and bringing the transformer and wires down with it at 6PM. The driver was able to exit the car prior to our arrival and was treated by Croton EMS. Car 2081 (Chief Mansfield), Car 2082 (A/C Colombo), E118, E119 & R18 took in the run. Command (2082) held E118 only to assist Con Ed.
