Rollover on Old Post Road North

At 10:58 PM on a frigid Thursday night, Croton Fire, EMS and Police were dispatched to Old Post Road North and Finney Farm Road for the reported motor-vehicle accident with fire and possible entrapment.
A few minutes after dispatch, Car 2081 (Chief Vlad) and Engine 119 arrived, finding a SUV on it's roof, with the driver out of the vehicle, and no fire evident. Engine 118 and Rescue 18 arrived shortly after, securing the scene and providing lighting.
Prior to rolling the vehicle over, the driver struck a utility pole and fractured it. Command had 60 Control notify Con Edison to evaluate the pole as a precaution. E118 was released prior to the vehicle being towed away, while E119 & R18 remained and helped clean up the spilled contents of the vehicle.
The driver was taken via Croton EMS to Westchester Medical Center for evaluation. All Croton Fire units returned to service at 11:56 PM. A response of over two dozen CFD volunteers were on scene.
